Codependence a 12 letter word

Codependency
–adjective
1. of or pertaining to a relationship in which one person is physically or psychologically addicted, as to alcohol or gambling, and the other person is psychologically dependent on the first in an unhealthy way.
Would, could one say I'm psychologically dependent on anyone in an unhealthy way?  Is love psychotic?  Am I not a strong smart and  independent?  Does wanting or having or liking love, sex and companionship make one c0-dependent?
According to wiki Codependence is a popular psychology concept.
I think much of psychology is horse shit but I did get an A in the one and only psych class I ever took.  I do remember lots of talk 'bout addictions.
The codependent is a person who perpetuates the alcohol or drug dependence of someone close to them in a way that hampers recovery. This can be done through direct control over the dependent or by making excuses for their dysfunctional behavior or relieving them of the consequences of the dependence. In an act called enabling, this can have negative social and health consequences for both parties.
For the record I do not believe that I am an "enabler" in anyway. Forgiveness is not enabling. If anything the family and friends are the enablers... more than me.  Have i ever made an excuse besides saying he's an idiot?

Thoughts?  Comments?

                                                        is that codependent?
